So Graham posted this picture of the night sky with what looks to me like a weird alien obelisk thing and said 'write a song about this'. Less than a day later, this song was written.

The nerdy bit: it's in 4/4 but tries its best to disguise it. At the start the piano chords are trying to put 3 against 2. Near the end there's a quintuplet synth thing going on. The chorus melody gets a bit less syncopated and closer to the beat later on in the song.
